Once Upon A Sketch October challenge - close-ups of my page "Follow Your Inner Light"

Hello sweet people!

Once Upon  A Sketch went live with our October challenge yesterday HERE, and so did Scrap Around The World, but as both collide with the same reveal date I have to take turns in posting them here on my blog on their respective reveal date. SATW will follow suite on 4 October.

First the OUAS sketch and theme "Journey";

I flipped the sketch once to the right like this and used only one photo + accentuated the horizontal line more than the vertical one.

 Here i my page "Follow Your Inner Light";

The journalling is as always, on the back and says;

There are many kinds of journeys, but the one that has made
the profoundest impact on my life,
is the one I am making on the inside.

In moments of doubt and pain, I always go
to my inner self. Some call that guiding voice God,
others have a different name.
I go to a place within where I find
the answers that I am searching for.
Knowing that there are people
all around the globe
seeing the same light and communicating
in the same language, gives me
strength every single day.
The name is LOVE.

I silhouetted the bottom half of the photo and
used pop dots to raise it.
The effect shows best on the light house as kan be seen here.

 I used Ecoline water colour ink in Gold instead of mist.

 Martha Stewart micro beads in teal randomly
scattered throughout the page.

 The lace looks beige here but IRL it's got a lovely khaki greenish brownish hue.
