Scrap Around The World - a tut on how I created my page "Busking"

Hello hello!

Today I have a short tut on Scrap Around The World on how I created the below page.

For the tut, please click HERE

Well, I actually don't have much of a planned process but it always starts with either the papers or the flowers. As you no doubt know, I have a huge crush on papers and flowers, and I simply got to have flowers on my pages.

This particular page came about when I was sorting a pile of papers and they happened to come up in the order almost identical to what I ended up using. This is basically always my starting point.

And this is the finished page - "Busking".

As I don't create a page from start to finish in one go,
I always work on a couple of pages at the same time.

When creating the above page, I also worked on the below
page simultaneously while paint and mediums were
drying on the first one.

I will share the details of my "Bling Bling" page
with you on 26 September.

Back to my page "Busking".

The photo was taken by my special Finnish photographer in Tallinn,
which is the capital of Estonia by the Baltic Sea.
I was inspired by the crackles in the wall behind him.

Tallinn's Old Town is a world heritage protected part of the medieval city
and has fantastic old houses with beautifully carved doors and gables.
The fussy-cut frame from KaiserCraft is perfect
under the chippie trellies from Polish Wycinanka
that I used as matting for the photo.

These cute chippie houses are also from Polish Wycinanka.
I misted them in several hues of Suede, Sunflower yellow,
Sand, and Chalk before adding gel bead medium,
acrylic paint and stamping.
