Thanks ever so much for the overwhelming response to my previous post in which I shared a just-for-fun and unusually bright and vibrant layout!
While we're splashing on the colours, why not have another one. CSI case file # 31 is a bold and very out-of-the-box experience for me too. Here's first the palette;
My take on the case file is more "me" but still with plenty of colour;
The girls are like yarn - separate threads but still from the same colour wash.
You have seen me scrap these two girls before and will no doubt be seeing them in my pages many a more time.
The title "Every Day - Sister Mine" is from Swedish world famous
author Astrid Lindgren's book "Ronia The Robber's Daughter" and is the
heartfelt oath of the loyalty Birk Borkason has to Ronia. The same
loyalty that big sister T has to her little sister M.
This photo was taken on the family's vacation on the Greek
island of Santorini earlier this year. Mummy tells how big sister T
really looked after her younger sibling, always making sure that she was
not left behind or that she didn't venture into the deep end of the
pool. When boisterous boys frolicked too happily in the pool and made
little sister M take an involuntary gulp of the pool water, big sis was
immediately there to put things right. Comforting and buying her ice cream. That's Birk and Ronia for you.
All the papers are by Scénic Route, really ancient from my very early days of scrapping. The chippie flourish is from 2Crafty and the pink metal flower is Prima.
The evidence I have used on my page are liquid mediums (many different kinds) and repetition (the circles/dots).
A quick post this Tuesday. Thanks for popping by and have a really great week!
Cheerio! xoxo Eila
