TCR #102 Years of Happiness

Hello hello!

Not much left of the weekend after I got home from my business trip yesterday evening. Had the sweetest of welcome committees waiting for me when I opened the front door; DH and all 3 cats. While I'm typing this, I've got Elsa behind my back on the chair and Alice snoozing in front of the screen. Once in a while I get 4 paws pummeling me on my butt, Elsa is dreaming :))

This week I have no page for CSI to share. Made a slip of the mind and swapped palettes in my head, which I didn't realise till I had finished the page and then I didn't have time to make another page. Talk about feeling silly!

We've come to palette # 102 over at TCR and the colours are inspired by Pion Design's collection called "For Father". Masculine muted colours in Dusted Khaki, Worn Leather, Petrolium and Silk Stockings (pale pink). Next week will be Pion's last sponsorship week.

Once again Jenny very generously donated papers for the DT to work with. Thank you so much Jenny!

Here's the inspo photo and Lydell's beautiful sketch:

This is what I came up with; "Years of Happiness"

We really don't have many photos of us both as I'm usually the one behind the camera and don't like having my photo taken either. This one was taken at a good friend's birthday party 4 years ago. It was a glorious day in early June.

  6. Oh you gotta frame this one Eila! It's a great photo of the both of you, and it's crafted so elegantly with beautiful fine details scattered about the page that makes my eye jump from one little cluster to the other to dissect all the pretty little details.
