Not much else done so far this week but work, work and work some more. Now I know what I'll be doing on 1-2 October this year - another conference!
My DT mate Gayle Price over at Meg's Garden, is a fabulously talented scrapper. She makes the most amazing pages, always designed with a beautiful eye for balance and the most stunning details. The other day Gayle sent me an email with love all the way from Australia, she awarded me the Liebster Award.
How incredibly amazing is this, within the span of only a couple of weeks I have received 3 Liebster Awards; from Liva Kalnina in Latvia, Helen Tilbury in South Africa and now Gayle Price in Australia. I am so touched by your kindness ladies, thank you infinitely!! Mwah!
In my previous post I wrote that in celebration of The Color Room's 100th palette, I had made two pages. One I shared with you in that post and here comes the second one that I have called "A Scent of Love".
Swedish Pion Design are our March sponsors and Jenny, the owner, has very very generously provided us in the DT with 4 different collections to work with. The current palette #100 is based on the collection called "From My Heart II". Fabulous red, pink, pale blue and cream. Shabby divine chic!
The chippie flourish is from Dusty Attic. I just painted it a couple of times with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in Espresso Bean before adding the embellies. The dimensional "handmade" sticker is from Norwegian Tilda.
Punched border that I ripped off in places and chalked with a rather heavy hand in Chestnut Roan.
Strips of lace and cut out paper strips from one of the papers. Some stamping in script and floral scrollwork in the background.
The most adorable cut out stamps from one of the papers and a dimensional thread spool sticker from Norwegian Tilda.
With the number of pages that I produce each month, I am quickly running out of photos. Not much getting photographed now during winter so I go out on internet to find photos. This one is not my own.
Fussy cut roses form a frame.
I used a doily to mist in brown on the backing paper and then I ripped it in strips and used it under the floral cluster. The label is from one of the papers. The glass jar dimensional sticker is also from Norwegian Tilda. The little cherub stuck in there is fussy cut from one of the papers.
Next we are heading over to CSI where we are having a DT call! If you're tickled by multi-dimensional challenges, this is the place for you!
Deadline for the last case file is 8 April. Please have a read of the details below.
It's getting late over here and if I don't claim my pillow soon, the bedbugs will certainly bite me! Thanks for your visit!
