Hello hello!
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend! I know I am, as the programme for the students I am teaching in London says "free time". No need to guess what I am doing - SHOPPING!!
Tomorrow we have a ride on the London Eye to look forward to, just as last year we will enjoy London's landmarks from above with a glass of proper champers in our hands - chin chin!!
MY GIVE AWAY
To celebrate the arrival of spring, I am
giving away 2 full sets of Swedish Maja Designs new collection called
Vintage Spring Basics.
The
only thing you have to do, is to leave a comment on this blog post. If
you leave a comment on my previous blogpost of Monday, 11 March as well,
you will have two chances in the draw! My give away is of course open to
anyone anywhere in the world!
This closes on midnight Tuesday, 19 March CET.
I will announce the lucky winners in the evening CET of Wednesday, 20 March.
It was my turn to share 3 pages over at the Blue Fern Studios blog on 11 March.
In my previous blog post I shared the first two, here is the third one that I have called "Happiness" (is to see things grow).
I have used the gorgeous Blue Fern Studios PRINCESS WINDOW under the photos.
The
weathered-flaking-paint effect was achieved by dabbing the chipboard in
pale straw yellow acrylic paint and distress ink in Vintage Photo over
and over several times using only very light dabs of both. When I had
achieved the layers I wanted, I randomly painted the chippie in Tatterd
Angels Glimmer Glaze in Saffron.

I
am really so pleased at how the irises turned out. The stems were
painted heavily in Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze in Organic Garden. The
heads were misted in Mister Huey's Opaque White and Tattered Angels
Lavender Fields. The Lavender Fields was added several times to get
intense pooling. The dark pinkish is Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in
Lipstick Pink.

If you click HERE you will be taken to the CEM shop where you can find it.
The title Happiness is from the Blue Fern Studios word set GOOD VIBES that you can find HERE in the C'est Magnifique shop.
I gave it the same treatment as the Princess Window, please see above.
I'll be back in the evening of 20 March CET to announce the winners of my give away, also on Facebook.
Till then todeloo! xoxo Eila
