Blue Fern Studios - "Adorable" and "Love" + a Give Away from Maja Design

Happy Monday and welcome to a new week!

Today is my turn to share some more pages over at Blue Fern Studios. Yummie new chipboard has been added to the C'est Magnifique store and is flying out the door quicker than Leslie can add it! Not surprised at all, the chipboards really are of superb quality and design, an absolute delight to work with!

Click HERE to be taken to the Blue Fern Studios blog.

Click HERE to come to the C'est Magnifique store where you can buy the chipboard.

The first page that I am sharing with you today is called "Adorable";

All papers used are from new Prima collections. There is a mix of Lyric, Fairy Rhymes and Divine.

The pretty title chippie ADORABLE is from the BFS set of words called GOOD VIBES and  HERE  is the link to the CEM store where you can buy it.

I simply inked it in Archival Ink in Black to make it stand out and show the beautiful "handwriting".

Earlier this year I used the bottom half of the BFS ROYAL BIRD FRAME for a page I made for CSI. Now I've used the top half on this page but flipped it. You can see it tucked in above the photo.

I misted it in Tattered Angels Candy Apple Red, inked in Ranger Spiced Marmalade and Versa Craft Poppy Red before randomly touching it up in Archival Ink Black.

You can find it HERE in the CEM shop!

The floral stems on the left of the photo are the BFS SPRING IRIS - SMALL and HERE is the link to the CEM store where you can buy it.

First I painted it in Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze in Saffron without priming the chipboard with gesso. Then I added some Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in Lipstick Pink on the flower heads and lastly I inked the edges in the same ink as the title so as not to smudge. The Glaze and Glam give the chipboard a really fantastic shine and colour IRL.

Here are some closies of the layout.

This little guy is the son of one of my younger cousins. He is now a handsome little man and the apple of his parents' eye.

The second page I am sharing with you today (the third one is pre-scheduled to go live next Saturday, 16 March as I am out of the country until 18 March) is called "Love".

All papers used on this one also from new Prima collections, mainly Fairy Rhymes and Divine. The brighter teal one is from Zephyr.

The title Love on this page is from the same BFS set of words called GOOD VIBES that I used for my previous page and  HERE  is the link to the CEM store where you can buy it.

The title was misted in Tattered Angels Sweet Clover and painted in Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in Organic Garden, very very lightly dabbed in Lemonade before I gently swiped over it with my finger using a tad of acrylic paint in gold. Shimmer and shine IRL again!

I so adore the BFS butterflies in the BRIGITTE BUTTERFLY SET! such perfect sizes and perfect number of 3 in the package. Here I have used 3 equally small ones. HERE the link to where you can find them in the CEM shop!

They were misted in Tattered Angels Chalkboard Sandy Beach as a base and then in luscious Silk. The Silk has a fabulous shimmer of pinkish melonyish hue that has to be seen IRL, my new fave! I accentuated the shimmer of the Silk by painting the butterflies in Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze in Icicle. Now we're talking about shimmer, just like flashes of jewels when the sun hits butterfly wings! I then added some silver sequins to them.

Here are some close-ups for you.

DH and I were at some younger friends' wedding some years ago and this is the basket with champers and the bride's maid's (ther DD's) bouquet that they brought onboard the boat taking them from church via the Stockholm archipelago to where the reception took place. The rest of us were transported in buses.
