GDT at Inkido

Woke up to a new Winter Wonderland this Tuesday morning. Was soooo glad when the snow melted away during last weekend and I could feel the gravel under my shoes. Still a looooong way to go before spring arrives late in March/early in April.

Is it allowed to feel happy when seeing one's own work? I certainly do when I look at the summery beautiful colours of the papers from Inkido that I was sent to work with for my GDT spot with them. The first 2 pages are now up on their blog : CLICK HERE FOR INKIDO'S BLOG

Darling Agnieszka aka Bellaidea is their DT coordinator and has made a wonderful blog post - thank you ever so much sweetie!

So without further ado, here's the first page that I have called FRIENDS;

Inkido Friends 800px main

Happy happy summery colours! LOVE the papers!

 Inkido Friends - 2
Cousins having coffee on a summers day a long time ago. My MIL is second from left tucking into a piece of cake.

 Inkido Friends - 3
The peachy-orangey-pinkish hues of the border just sing to me. Stamped Prima triple border in Tim Holtz Vintage Photo and Wild Honey. The background paper has a wonderful very subtle pattern in white that comes across photographed only if you look really hard.

 Inkido Friends - 4
Prima bling of course.

 Inkido Friends - 5
Some subtle embossed Prima script in ivory, just like whispy white clouds in the sky.

 Inkido Friends - 6
A whole sheet of the prettiest of butterflies in different sizes, I've layered them with pop dots.

 Inkido Friends - 7
A mix of Green Tara blooms and Prima embellies.

I say D-E-L-I-SH papers!

Inkido Hip Hip Hoorah - 2
The photo is of the classic Swedish birthday cake - Victoria sponge with filling of raspberry jam, crème Anglaise and whipped cream under a cover of green (and it has to be this chartreuse green) marzipan with a pink rose on top. It is called Prinsesstårta which translates into Princess cake. And no, there is no Prince cake nor any King or Queen cakes ha ha!

Inkido Hip Hip Hoorah - 5
Cut out triangles free hand from canvas, scrunched them up real good, script stamped and then misted the top layer in Tattered Angels Rose Tea and Vintage Pink.

My next post over at Inkido will be later in January, will let you know the date.

My first blog post over at Blue Fern Studios is approaching very soon - I'll be back on 12 January European time to share my page with you!

At the moment the gorgeous chippies can be bought from C'est Magnifique kit club in the US but we are working fast and furious to get them out to retailers. If you like what you see, please ask your local store to put in an order - I can promise you they will disappear quicker than they can be re-stocked!
