Prima PPP September 2014 - two autumnal canvases

It's a beautiful Sunday here in Stockholm. The trees have started to shift in blazing autumnal hues even if the lawns are still sort of green. Time to start thinking of sweaters and warmer shoes. The snow has already arrived up north, even if it was only for a short visit. As far as I'm concerned, it can stay away for the whole winter.

Just finished my take on the Prima September PPP, here's first the moodboard with its beautiful golden hues;

9-september

I made two  8" x 8" (20 cm x 20 cm) canvases for a birthday girl. They were designed to either hang side by side, or separately.

First the left one;

And then the right one;

Both unframed next to each other;

Both in their shadow boxes;

Prima shadow boxes

Good morning Thursday!

Two days to go and then it's weekend yay! It's been a busy week again, got a couple of long trips to far away countries to plan and coordinate for my boss. Many visits and many legs of transportation to consider. Wouldn't mind joining him to Nepal where our company has one of our offices, that would be SO interesting!

It's 25 September, which means I am up on the Scrap365 blog with a post on 3 Prima shadow boxes.

I am showing how older and newer Prima collections can be beautifully combined to create new combinations. Just love how they can be mixed and matched for new inspiration, one of the reasons Prima continues to wow me over and over again.

Click HERE for the link to the post with close-ups and full product lists.

Here comes a sneaky peaky of one of them!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit
the Scrap365 Magazine blog!
It would mean the world to me if you would
want to leave a word.

Summer Journal

Friday yay!

Woke up this morning to a misty, drab world out there. Pale light from the street lamps through the sheets of gray and the balcony railings were dripping with moist. Autumn has definitely made its entrance in Stockholm.

So many beautiful memories from last summer, BBQs, picknicks, visits and a special birthday among many other things. Thought I'd share the cover of the guestbook that I created for that birthday.

Everything on it is Prima, created with what I had left after having made my Summer Memories layout for LWP on 19 August as well as things from my stash.

Mists used on it are Prima Color Bloom Sprays in
Soft Teal,
Glitening Waves,
Summer Sky,
Peony
and
Cotton Candy.

I also used Tattered Angels
chalkboard in Splash
and
Glimmer Mist in Sunflower.

 LOVE the Prima seashore resins!

Yummo pebbles!

I'll be back on Monday, 22 September
with a blogpost over at Scrap365 Magazine.
Sharing photos from my scrappy nook
for the first time ever.

Have a wonderful weekend wherever you are!

GD at LemonCraft - part 3

Hi ya!

Work is in full swing again after the glorious sunny weekend. Tidied up my nook and photographed it for an upcoming blog post over at Scrap365 Magazine later this month. That'll be a first, I have never shown any photos from my cave :)

Aaanyhow, more of that later. Today I'm sharing the third and last of the pages I made for my GD spot with Polish LemonCraft.

HERE is the link to the full reveal post over at LemonCraft.pl

This last page is my fave of the three, I have called it "Remember";

 So many cute brads, flairs and sugar dots.
All matching the papers to a tee.

Here's a butterfly flair tucked into the cluster.

 And look at the one in this cluster - YUMMIE!

 I just fell in love with the butterfly brad
with a pebbled top,
soooo pretty!

 The jewel of my page is this lady -
Ali Parris!

She just shines with beauty inside out so
I wanted her to remember how
she lights up everything with her smile, always so
full of warmth, love and life.

My second page is called "Precious";

It was the blue band around Mr D's hat that
decided the photo for me.
A garden layout with butterflies and delicate blooms.

 Love all the possibilities for fussy cutting that
the papers have. Sweet sweet details.

Father and daughter.
Makes me so happy to look at this photo.
Thank you again Ali!

LOVE the soft patterns of these papers,
like subtle clouds of delight.

 The flower pack that goes with the collection is
absolutely perfectly matched both in
colour and prettyness.
I love the itty bitty white ones, sooo cute!
And just look at that flair - oh là là!

Sweet lace for that last finishing touch.

GDT at LemonCraft, Poland

Hi ya!

Boy what a week it has been, sure don't have any problems filling my days! We're already halfways into September and I am planning our annual X-mas party at work. Eeek!

Some time ago sweet and talented Anna Zaprelska, owner of LemonCraft in Poland, renowned for her celestial cards and layouts, asked me would I like to be their GD in September. I of course said yes! Their collections are soooo beautiful which scrappers as far away as Australia have discovered.

Anna sent me the gorgeous Forget Me Not collection to work with. Bliss! blue is my fave colour so I really had a blast creating.

HERE is the link to the full reveal over at LemonCraft.

And HERE is the link to their online store where you can also find a list of stores selling their products.

I will share the 3 pages I made one by one with including close-ups that aren't posted over at LemonCraft here on my blog over the next few days.

The first one is called "Happiness";

 Big girl Ruby on her way to her first day at school.
Thank you so much Ali for generously
sharing this photo with me!

 The gorgeous chippie title is from
 www.merlyimpressions.co.uk

The LemonCraft papers are of a wonderful thick
quality and have beautiful patterns.

 Love my fussy cutting!

This super super pretty butterfly was cut out
from the packaging. I have also used another
packingas a layer under the photo.
Such pretty images on them, would be
a waste just to throw them away.

 LemonCraft has THE cutest buttons and flairs!
Mounted an itty bitty butterfly from the packaging
on this one.

Creating is made so easy as there are so many
matching embellishments to each
collection. Don't you just adore these sweet daisies!
