GDT at Norwegian Papirdesign - fourth and last page "Thoughts"

Hello hello!

We have come to the fourth and last of my GDT pages for Norwegian Papirdesign. This one is called "Thoughts".

Was thinking about how this horse stands there munching on his grass and contemplating life.

Love that board paper! absolutely perfect for a country inspired page.

Very very subtle and soft stamping and masking on this page.

The second paper is an old peachy pink PP from my stash.
On top of it is a gorgeous gray/pink damask paper from Papirdesign,
you can see it further down as an inset in
the TH book plate.

Beeeautiful paper!

If you click on the photo, you will see the soft
pretty pretty patterned papers better.

The third paper is a white/cream ditsy print floral paper.
Another paper to die for!

More close-ups of the dreamy papers! and some white Papirdesign lace.

Finnabair's newest vintage paper in there too.

The chippie piece is from Blue Fern Studios.
It was painted in Glimmer Glaze and strewn with microbeads in silver.

Et voilà! there it is my last page for Papirdesign.
I hope you have liked what you have seen over these passed weeks.

Thank you so much Line for having me!

Prima September BAP - "Smile"

Happy Saturday everyone!

Temperatures are falling quickly over here. Yesterday we had +2C (that's 32F) and almost sleety rain. Brrrr! Perfect excuse for staying indoors though :))

It is also that time of the year when I meet my fellow European Executive Assistants for our Annual General Meeting in a European capital. This year it takes place in my beloved London yay! Leaving on Wednesday and coming back home on Sunday so I will have a couple of pre-scheduled posts next week.

But today is Saturday and I thought I'd share my take on the Prima September BAP. First the sketch. I've kept true to it.

2013 September BAP

This little guy is the son of friends.
I have the permission of his parents to use his photo on my page,
which I have given to them as a gift.

Stash-raided papers combined with a dash of Delight,
new embellies and blooms.

The new Bellas (pale blue flowers) stole my heart with
their crisp petals and soft colours.

Prima recently released some gorgeous canvas blooms too.
I immediately hoarded packs of them.

Used water colour inks instead of mists on this page.
Luscious gold mixed with pastel blue and milky white.
IRL it looks like the Milky Way glimmering and shining
in beautiful pools.

Snapped a resin frame in pieces and used in the corners.

Prima have oodles of cute little wood embellies.
Most of the time I use them raw but here I have
chalked up the butterflies in brown and
randomly splattered gold water colour ink on them.

 And that's it!

Prima September PPP - "Big Apple"

Hi ya!

The days are flying by and I have started laying the foundations for some winter and Christmas themed pages in my head. Feels like it's far too soon to be thinking of Christmas, but sooner than you think, it will be knocking on the door.

Today I'm sharing my take on the Prima September PPP. Here's the inspo photo first to jog your memory of the beautiful autumnal colours of the palette:

2013 September PPP

And here is my take - adventure in the "Big Apple";

I just loved the palette the second I saw it.
The muted tones of mulled wine, old leather,
wooden floors and metal.
I instantly knew which photos to use.

I found these while I was browsing on internet,
they are from New York.

Subtle misting and stamping to enhance the feel of the photos.

Letting the rest of the photos speak for themselves.

Just for me - "Evening"

Hi!

Once in a while but not very often I get a day or some hours that don't have a deadline to them. That happened a couple of weeks ago and it coincided with the arrival of a parcel of new Prima stuff.

I made two pages that day, the first one I shared with you last week - "Morning Glory" - and the other one I'm sharing with you today - "Evening".

I had to tweak the photos a tad too heavily or else details wouldn't photograph at all. The colours are absolutely beeeautiful IRL so soft and delicate.

The pale green at the top and the ditsy print peach/white are from
the new collection Delight,
and the grey/apricot stripey one is from Fairy Belle.

The green is not as minty IRL,
more of a tender pale olivey hue but
oh so hard to capture.

Twigs from Polish Wycinanka. The rest is Prima.

Love how more or less all Prima collections old and
new can be matched.
Here is a paper from Finnabair's new collection
tucked in between the Delight papers.

One of the new 6 x 6 Prima masks, so pretty!

Sorry, have no idea why Blogger insists on chopping off a piece of the photo.

I found this photo of cows on their way home at sunset on internet.
Just look at that sky!

PRODUCT LIST

Papers: Prima collections Delight, Fairy Belle and Finnabair's A4 paper pad
Embellies: Prima resins, metal trinkets, buttons, stamps, light bulb and flowers. Wycinanka chipboards.
Stash: modeling paste, TH distress inks, mists, gesso

GDT at Norwegian Papir Design - third page "Resting"

Hello beautiful peeps!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Yesterday was spent baking for the party hubbs and I went to in the evening. A beautiful lady and dear friend had a very special birthday. Later in October I will share what I created as gift for her.

It's Sunday again and time for me to share my third GDT page for Norwegian Papirdesign. One more to go after this.

Here's my "Resting", a sweet page in blue hues.

The main focus of this page is strangely enough the
jeans blue backing paper.
Its dreamy indigo colour set the tone for the whole page.

The sweet sweet soft as baby's hair pink second layer is absolutely gorgeous IRL. Its pattern or the delicate pink hue
don't photograph at all.

Prima masking and stamping in pink, gray and black.
Misting in Jeans Blue.

Another four-legged family member of the Finnish
photographer's household.
May I introduce Mr Svante himself having a rest in the boat shed.

These Papirdesign chippie hearts were dresses in
a soft blue/gray stripey paper from Meg's Garden and
topped with a sweet Papirdesign rose.

Fussy-cutting from papers from Meg's Garden.

Have no clue which brand the chippie picket fence is, had removed the wrapping.
White pretty Papirdesign lace layered under it
and another rose on the fussy-cut leaves.

More of the sweet.

Wish the text print on the pale pink Papirdesign paper would photograph better.
Just look at  how authentique the jeans print is!
lusciously bold and vibrant!

Something just for me - "Morning Glory"

Happy Hump Day!

When the postman started bringing the new Prima stuff I had ordered from da US some time ago, I simply had to create something then and there. Such pretty pretty products!

This page is for no challenge and isn't based on any sketch, it was made just for pure pleasure.

I used pale a pale teal paper from Fancy Pants that I found during my
stash raiding earlier this summer to enhance the
pretty pattern of the gray paper from Norwegian
Papirdesign that I used as base for my page.

Just look at that lovely Papirdesign pearl swirl
going from the main cluster!
LOVE the little blooms at the end
(some are hidden under the cluster).

I cut mine in half and tucked in the pieces at the top and bottom
to make it go a longer way.
I also inked it very gently in Ingvild Bolme's
fluid chalk Teal Damask.

Both photos are actually from the one and same photo but
I printed it really big and then circle-cut it into two.

Photo by my special Finnish photographer.

Breakfast on a tranquil morning by the lake. Serenity.
That's the prow of the wooden little boat tied
to the jetty that you see here.

Prima's collection Delight is adorable. LOVE these blooms!

New Prima mask in there, chalking in Teal Damask,
misting in Jeans Blue and Patina.
Some script stamping
and
white pearls from Papirdesign.

The top paper from Papirdesign is gorgeous,
pale cream with a very subtle pattern.
Sooo beautiful!

More Prima Delight.

Embellies: Papirdesign pearl swirl and pearls.
Prima flair, journalling cards, blooms, resin, mask
