Prima April PPP - "Sweets for my sweet"

Hello Saturday!

Woke up to birdsong and a sky that hasn't been this blue in a long time. It's a truly BEAUTIFUL day out there!

Have been 3 days on my new job now and they sure went by at super sonic speed. My boss sent me a text yesterday evening telling me how happy he is to have me onboard. Bless him the sweet man!

Aaanyhow, thought I'd share my take on the Prima April PPP today. At the end of this post I will reveal the name of the winner of the extra free registration for a My Details eCourse.

First the moodboard with its gorgeous soft pastel colours.

April 2014 ppp

and then my take on it.
Had to tweak the photos a bit more than I would have liked to,
otherwise the soft colours wouldn't have photographed at all.

Punchwork and stamping to mimic old fashioned
doily lace.

Have stocked up a drawer full of the SIIC jewels,
they come in the most beautiful colours -
who could choose just a few!

Adore the fireplace resins, nah! I actually adore all of the resins!
Couldn't live without them!

Love, love the Crochet Icons too!
Guilty as charged - I love ANYTHING Prima!

How could I resist this photo by the Finnish photographer
whose photos I am allowed to use?! CUTE!

As most of you know, I have a life-long crush on beautiful papers and cannot imagine scrapping without my beloved flowers. Come to think of it, I have never made a layout without flowers. However, when I set my eyes on Crate/Maggie Holmes latest collection called Styleboard I sent my flowers back into their box. Now that's a first!

HERE  is the link to the full blogpost with photos of products used.

In addition to the mini album, I also made 4 other projects with the Styleboard Collection, all of them can be seen over at Scrap365's blog.
Check out the papers, oh là là! I'm in love! how pretty can it get! Wonderful quality as I like and they come in the cutest mix of sweet patterns and colours. My Mojo started stirring immediately and I set out to create my first project, a mini album.

More birthdays - a card and a gift box for a pretty girl

Hello!

Hope you're weekend has started off nicely and you are enjoying spring/autumn. Stockholm is boasting wonderful sunshine. Yay!

Today I though't I'd share another birthday card and giftbox that I made a couple of weeks ago. We have many birthdays to celebrate in the spring.

Here's first the card;

All papers are from Norwegian Tilda's collection "All About Spring".

The colours are really quite tricky to photograph.
The photo still doesn't give justice to the beautiful, soft hues.

The little resin cherubs are from Prima,
as is the white lace bloom
on top of the banner.

 And then the gift box that held a necklace and a bracelet for the youngish lady;

Here the colours of the Tilda papers have photographed so much better.

A Prima metal plaque and lots of cream pearls scattered all over.

A gift box wouldn't be complete without Prima goodies on the lid.
White, cream and gray mulberry roses.
White lace blooms.
One of Finnabair's metal flowers and a resin cherub to finish it off.

***

That's all for today. Thank you so much for coming by!!

I'll be back on Monday, 7 April
when I'm up with a post on the Scrap 365Magazine blog again.

Eggs, eggs, eggs - blogpost for Scrap365 Magazine

Hello hello!

Cannot believe it's already 1 April, where did time go?!

Life's taken over the steering wheel of my time allocator, which results in me beeing missing in most places.

Today also marks the first day of our company re-organization. Massive changes involving more than 10 000 employees, me included. So I've got all of my working hours in the office filled to the roof with job to be done.

Enought of that.

Not long till Easter, but there is still plenty of time to make easy peasy quick crafted eggs. Combine it with some stash-raiding, and Bob's your uncle!

Today I am up on the 365Scrap Magazine blog with 4 different easter eggs and a quick walk-through on how I made them.

HERE is the link to the full blogpost! and here's one of the eggs to wet your appetite.

I'll be back very shortly with
Scrap Around The World's
April challenge reveal
and then again on Saturday with another blogpost.

Prima March PPP - "Sorla's Meadow"

Hello Saturday!

And WHAT a beautiful day it is! the snow that came a couple of days ago, again, has vanished and the spring blooms have re-opened their pretty petals.

Mrs Mojo woke me up the other night insisting on some creativity. If I may add, I am a very sound sleeper not to be woken by earthquakes before the alarm rings. The finished result of this sudden energy surge is my take on the Prima March PPP.

Here's first the inspo photo;

2014 March ppp

And then my take, a 30 cm x 30 cm (12 x 12 inches) canvas. Its original title in Swedish - "Sorlas äng" translates into "Sorla's Meadow".

It goes to a little girl who loves her puppies, one of them is Sorla. She dreams up wonderful fairy tale stories about the adventures of her little friends. The canvas is about a beautiful summers day with Sorla running on the meadow, chasing butterflies and having fun. If you look carefully you might just catch a glimpse of her floppy ears in the grass!
